Phase 1 - An exploratory analysis 

Recognizing the critical importance of precision therapies and their logistics, Pharma.Aero co-initiated the Precision Therapy Logistics (PTL) Project to explore the specific requirements for their handling and distribution. 

Phase 1 focused on an exploratory analysis of the current logistics situation regarding precision therapies, identifying operational risks and logistical obstacles.  

The project successfully established a logistics framework for the safe, secure, and effective distribution of precision therapies, identifying 8 areas of focus: 

• dedicated project team
• network design
• partner selection
• packaging
• logistics visibility
• contingency planning
• SOPs
• customs clearance
