Phase 2 - Evidence-based analysis of current risks

Phase 2a: Evidence-based analysis of the current situation and risks
The second phase entails the execution of two series of 54 shipments (winter profile & summer profile), back and forth between the Science Park University of Antwerp, Belgium and Biolabs Dallas, USA. This phase is coordinated by the ATMP Logistics Excellence Centre.
The results of this phase consist of a risk report that provides insight into the weaknesses of the current chain and serves as a basis for developing a standardized approach in the next phase of the project. Moreover, the findings within ATMP act as a blueprint for other sensitive shipments such as radioligand therapies.
Based on the insights from phase 1 and phase 2a, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as well as an internationally recognized transport label will be developed in collaboration with the project partners.
